Hot on the heels of their stellar debut album, Old Home Movies (released in May on Antenna Farm Records), comes The Botticellis' self-titled 7", a collection of two previously unreleased tracks. Featuring an alternate take of the Old Home Movies song, "Table By The Window," and a cover of George Harrison's classic, "Awaiting On You All," this record further cements the fact that The Botticellis are a band you should be paying close attention to. "Table By The Window" is more than an alternate take, it's an extended cut—over three minutes longer than its companion closer on Old Home Movies. Although it's never easy to cover a George Harrison song, The Botticellis certainly do the man a great justice with "Awaiting On You All," turning his boppy jam into a laidback affair, complete with Glickman's muggy vocals and Li's sharp, almost psychedelic-sounding guitar tone.
